The Bar Association Dera Bassi is a professional organization for lawyers in Dera Bassi, Punjab, focused on upholding justice, integrity, and legal excellence. It serves as a platform for networking, legal education, and community service for its members. The Bar Association Dera Bassi established in 2008 with the efforts of that time Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Shri Vajindre Jain and Inspecting Judge Shri M. M Kumar. Naval Kumar Additional Civil Judge Sr. Division was the first appointed Judge of our Court. There after two more courts were formed. With the passage of time more courts came to be established here. At present we have 10 courts , out of total 9 Female judiciary officers posted in our court. Our station is one of near by Tricity. And our city is also called the Gateway of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Due to the proximity of cities like Zirakpur, there is a lot of litigation in our court. Due to increased litigation, we now need a bigger complex. It’s our utmost priority and We all want our court complex to be built as soon as possible. The previous executives and their office bearers has put in a lot of hard work and efforts for the court complex. Present Executive body will not leave any stone unturned. Mostly you will find young advocates in our court. And everyone is working hard and serving the profession of lawyers with great heart.
